How Tycoon Works

The idea is simple, yet incredibly powerful.

Manaview took the best gold strategies in the game and made an addon that automates the difficult or most time consuming parts of the strategy. Since it’s automated, it basically means they optimized the strategy so you’re more efficient in doing it, resulting in about 5x more gold than you would normally get.

The 5 current strategies included are Gathering, Grinding/Farming, Crafting, Auction House Playing, and Dailies. This is 95% of all gold making strategies used by the WoW community, so almost nothing is left out.

The addon intelligently studies your server’s economy and shows you things like:
- Exactly what strategy will make you the most money

- What item will make you the most money based on its calculations

- The best way to get that item by giving you things like, optimized gathering routes or hot farming locations.

- It knows if too many people are using that strategy and will often times tells you to get an item with no competition but high in demand. This means you’re the only one getting that particular item because there’s no competition, resulting in getting more of them. And there is high demand meaning you can sell it for super high prices.


Detailed Walkthrough

When you startup Tycoon, the first thing you need to do is scan the Auction House to help Tycoon learn your economy. This is super quick and done with a click of a button. This is similar to Auctioneer but it’s a much quicker scan that takes no more than 30 seconds to complete.

When the scan is complete Tycoon has enough information to do its magic. A window will appear with lists of items ordered from top to bottom by how much Tycoon believes you will make, per hour, if you go for that item.

I’m impressed with how accurately Tycoon is able to give you solid advice on which items will make you the most money.

Often times, items that you never thought would make you the most gold per hour will appear at the top of the list. That’s where Tycoon really comes in handy. It has the ability to scan through an enormous amount of data that would take a human several hours to figure out. People usually skip past the economy studying part and just go straight for the highest level items, but with Tycoon you’ll discover those aren’t always the items that will make you the most gold per hour.

It knows your economy better than a human ever can, it knows if the market is inflated and knows when there’s too much competition. If situations aren’t right to go for one item, Tycoon will give you another one. It’s a good feeling to know you’re always doing the strategy that makes you the most gold possible at that point in time.

Tycoon does more than just tell you the best way to make the most gold. It shows you!

If Tycoon tells me to mine say, Cobalt ore, all you need to do is click the “Show me routes” button and it will give you highly optimized mining routes. This creates ant trails around your which guide you over the most populated mining node locations. This feature is great and allowed me to double the amount of ore I typically get mining by myself.

This was an awesome feature added to the Gathering Module and I can’t go over all the features in this short review. But all 5 Strategy Modules have some kind of special feature that helps you get the most of that item in the shortest amount of time!


The CONS

I could only find one bad thing about Tycoon.

Sometimes Tycoon will put an item at the top of the Most Profitable list which isn’t in very high demand. It does show you the “demand” of the item is low though. So, as long as you pay attention to that and don’t go for any items that are low in demand, you should be able to quickly sell it. Otherwise, if you don’t mind waiting, you will still sell it eventually.


Conclusion

Tycoon is a truly revolutionary product that is going to change Gold Making forever. Once you’ve used Tycoon, attempting to play without it will be nearly impossible.

The addon is beautiful and has very few bugs for a new product. With the data, tools, and special features of this addon, it is very hard NOT to make more gold using it.

They have gone above and beyond everything you will need to make 500% more gold per hour, or more. Every aspect of the gold strategies included has been enhanced by helpful data or features to help you do it better and faster.

This warrior build is very useful for single player fights because it improves as the fight goes on and your might stacks up. It focuses on crit and boosting your damage each time that you make a critical hit by attaching a bleed to the enemy. On top of all that you get a huge crit boost thanks to Deep Strike in the Arms tree and your five different signets.

The Weapons

The Axe and great sword complement each other very well because they are both excellent at dealing high amounts of damage to single targets or groups and they allow you to deal devastating damage by stacking Might and unleashing it.

You start off with the 2h sword to build up Might with Forceful Greatsword in the Arms tree, and then you switch over to your double axes to unleash as much damage as you can while Might is still active and you repeat again.

 

 

Trait Progression

1.      10 in Strength

2.      10 in Arms

3.      10 in Discipline

4.      10 in Defense

5.      10 Arms

6.      10 Strength

7.      10 Discipline

Strength

Your focus should be completely on Strength in the beginning of the game because it will jump start your damage.

Arms

After you get Strength up to 10 and you get access to the increased vitality from Great Fortitude you need to start focusing on Arms to compliment the damage with critical hits. Get it up to ten points as soon as you can to get the +40 precision from unused signets because that is going to do wonders for your crit rate with all the signet passives.

Defense

As you get up to the higher levels you will notice that you are consistently taking more damage and it will be difficult to continue progressing. By adding 10 points into Defense you should be able to reduce that damage and make it bearable to keep going without worrying about dying all the time.

Discipline

Discipline is useful for increasing the amount of burst damage you can do thanks to the buff to burst damage and the adrenaline increase on weapon swap, but the boost in run speed from Warrior’s Sprint is going to do the most for you while you are leveling. Later on Signet Mastery will allow you to use all five of your signets more often.

 

 

It is vital that each of your additional abilities is a signet to maximize this build. That way you will have an increase in 200 Precision when you are not using the Signets for a dramatic boost in crits which is why this build is so effective.

Healing - Healing Signet

Obviously you should use this signet whenever you need a boost of life. Otherwise keep it on cooldown for a boost in regeneration.

Utility 1 - Signet of Might

This ability is useful for its overall damage increase and can be used effectively for a good finishing boost when active.

Utility 2 - Dolyak Signet

Most of the time the passive reduction in ranged damage is going to be the most useful, but if you face an enemy that will usual use crowd control on you it is useful to use this signets active boost in stability.

Utility 3 - Signet of Fury

The boost of adrenaline you get from this signet makes it very useful for launching last minute burst attacks.

Elite - Signet of Rage

The Signet of Rage is best used if you are trying to finish off a difficult enemy. It will give you a boost in damage that should help give you an edge in combat.

Guild Wars 2 utilizes a highly structured, comprehensive achievement system. These days gamers expect their favorite titles to come stocked with a myriad of achievements. Adding an extra layer of depth to games, players enjoy the additional replay value achievements afford. Whereas most games only implement uninspired, unrewarding achievements, the Guild Wars 2 achievement system is extraordinarily deep and varied.

In Guild Wars 2 there are three types of achievements. Daily achievements are similar to traditional daily quests featured in other MMOs like World of Warcraft. Players will be rewarded for killing enemies, slaughtering different enemy types, gathering goods and participating in events. All daily achievements are tiered. Reaching higher tiers requires completing lower tiers first. For instance, by killing 10 enemies players will complete a Tier 1 daily achievement. They must kill 20 more enemies to complete Tier 2. Subsequent tiers grant better rewards. The rewards for completing daily achievements are typically in the form of coin and experience points.

Monthly achievements function in much the same matter as dailies, except that both the requirements and rewards are far greater. For example, completing the Tier 4 Event Participation achievement requires that a player partake in 100 events in a 30-day period. Other achievements reward players based on skill. The Experience Survivor monthly requires players to accumulate increasing amounts of experience without dying. Catering to the hardcore gaming crowd, monthly achievements represent some of the most difficult tasks in the game.

Monthly achievements are expected to change based on what events are currently going on within the game universe. They are also expected to be somewhat dynamic in nature.

The third type of achievements is regular achievements. These are more in line with what players have come to expect from MMORPGs. They are broken down into categories. When players enter a zone the loading screen will display their achievement progress. Everything from using weapon skills, to partaking in social events and PvP can potentially grant players an achievement. There are even achievements for sporting special armor. However, the rewards for most regular achievements are only cosmetic in nature.

Thanks to achievements, players who reach level 80 in Guild Wars 2 will still find that there is a lot more to be accomplished.

Ever since the original World of Warcraft game came out, diehard fans have been studying the fastest ways to level, and dungeon leveling is the latest and greatest technique for power leveling quickly.  The dungeon finder tool makes it easy for both Alliance and Horde players to level their WoW characters almost entirely inside of the game’s dungeons. 

Dungeon leveling is very simple.  It basically involves using the dungeon finder button located at the bottom of your action bard toward the right side of your screen.  The button looks like a small green eye.  You aren’t able to use the dungeon finder until you reach level 15, but you might want to wait one extra level and begin using it after you train your level 16 skills from your class trainer.  When you’re ready to try dungeon leveling, just click the dungeon finder button to begin looking for a group.  Then all you have to do is sit back, relax, and watch the levels fly by!

There are two major questions every World of Warcraft player is always looking for the answer to, and dungeon leveling provides the perfect solution to both of these questions.  All WoW players are always trying to find faster ways to level their characters and new ways to make more gold than they ever had before.  Thanks to patch 3.3 in Wrath of the Lich King, we now have the dungeon finder system.  The dungeon finder solved a problem so many players had: not being able to find a group to complete dungeons with.  However, the dungeon finder is much more than a tool for level 80 characters to earn badges and gear up.  It also provides the perfect way to power level.

More Experience

Many of the early WoW dungeons from the original game and the Burning Crusade have been overlooked in the past few years, thanks to all the new content from the Wrath of the Lich King expansion.  But don’t forget that those early parts of the game had dungeons too, and these dungeons provide a valuable resource for those who want to power level their characters more quickly than they ever have before.  The average experience earned per second is far higher for those who are dungeon leveling instead of traditional solo questing, and the rewards earned from completing dungeon quests are of much better quality than those earned in the solo route.

More Gold

Additionally, dungeon leveling also allows you to earn a lot more gold in a shorter amount of time than questing alone.  There are three ways dungeon leveling can help you earn plenty of WoW gold.  The most basic way is the fact that you’re killing monsters much more quickly and efficiently.  Each kill gives you a cut of the gold as loot, and party members take turns looting the kills.  Simply selling all the trash you pick up from all of those kills will help you earn even more gold than you could by questing alone. 

The second level of earning more gold from dungeon leveling is the fact that you’ll have more access to unique and useful items that can be sold on the auction house.  If you don’t know how to use the auction house, then it’s definitely worth your time to learn, especially if you’re power leveling through the dungeon finder system.  Creatures will drop cloth, gems, and other materials for various professions, and all of these will sell on the auction house.  You increase the likelihood of actually seeing these items drop by going the dungeon leveling route instead of the solo questing one. 

The third level of making WoW gold from dungeon leveling also involves the auction house, but it also requires that you have an enchanter in your group.  If there’s an enchanter in the group, then you will have the option to “Disenchant” in addition to “Need or “Greed.”  Selecting “Disenchant” is a great way to get enchanting materials and earn some extra gold on the auction house.

Salvaging Market Items

One of the quickest and easiest ways to earn money in Guild Wars 2 is to salvage items that you find on the trading post and then sell the materials that you get from those items. In order for this to be effective you need to search the trading post for items that are priced very low. When you find those items you should buy a couple of them and salvage them to see what you get.

After you know what the raw materials are for the item look up the value of that material on the trading post. Use that value as a guide to what you can pay for the items.

If the items are much cheaper than what the raw materials are worth you should buy them all up and break them down and resell them. When you finish with one set of items move on to a different set of items and repeat the process again. This method is simple and quick and a great way to start earning money at the beginning of the game.

Buy in Bulk

Another clever technique to earn a good amount of money using the Trading Post is to buy items in bulk and resell them for a profit. What I mean by buying items in bulk is picking up an entire lot of items from a seller who is just looking to get rid of them. For instance someone may be trying to sell 1000 copper ore and there won´t be that many people willing to buy it because of the massive amount. Since there is less interest in the bulk amount of items they will go for less money.

When you buy those items at a lower cost you can mark them up and sell them off in smaller lots so that they are more appealing. Even if you only mark the items up a little you are still going to make a decent profit on all of them because of the huge number that you purchased initially. This method works very well for most of the stackable items in the game, but it should go without saying that you have to do a little research to make sure you are getting a good deal on the items before you buy them. While most bulk sellers will list items at a lower price, others will have high prices and you don´t want to get stuck with those.
