In this post i´m going to take a look at the key parts that you will need to keep an eye on if you want to progress in Defiance.

There are 3 main parts of the game when you are talking about progression or leveling and these are EGO Rating, Weapon Experience and EGO Points. Your EGO rating will unlock perk slots and inventory slots as well as dungeons. The EGO points will unlock perks and and EGO powers.

Weapon experience will improve the skill that you have with weapons. The main aspect of leveling is your EGO rating as when this goes up it affects everything else. You need to get your EGO rating up to unlock perks slots but more importantly as you progress is that you will unlock more content such as matchmaking with your rating.

So if there were a “leveling” system in Defiance your EGO rating would be the progress you are making.

EGO points are unlocked as you get more XP and these points can be spent on perks via the EGO grid. A good way to make sure your points are moving up as they should is to get involved in content such as Arkfalls early on as this can give you a huge boost.

Weapon experience is also a big part of the game and this will build up over time depending on how much you use a weapon type. You will want to try and find a weapon you are comfortable with early on as when you reach the experience cap for the weapon you will get bonus stats.

The main thing that you should concentrate on as soon as the game launches in EGO rating as that will directly affect all of the other areas and is the most rewarding over all.

You can get your EGO rating up by completing the main story missions and also taking part in as many live events such as Arkfalls that you can when you start the game!

This post will give you some leveling tips for Defiance to increase the rate that you progress through the game. In actual fact there is no leveling per se, it is more progress through the game and the main factor that governs this is EGO rating.

You will up your EGO rating as you complete missions, take part in Arkfalls and obviously as you spend your Ego points on weapons and mods.

There are 3 main parts that you will want to focus on with progress through the game and these are EGO rating, weapon experience and EGO points.

Weapon experience will improve the skill you have with a weapon so it is a good idea when you start the game that you find a weapon you like using and stick with it. This will allow you to level the weapon faster BUT once it has reached max level you will want to move onto another weapon so you can level that.

EGO rating is another thing you will want to focus on and as this improves you will get perk slots unlocked but you will also get to match make in PVP with people on your level to unlock more goodies.

The main thing you will want to focus on is your EGO rating and your EGO points. The EGO points are used to get more EGO powers and perks and the EGO rating you have affects everything such as your EGO points, weapon experience and perks.

Concentrate on the main missions to begin with and get those ratings up and then go through the side missions.

I dropped in a World vs. World scenario where it was more like a medieval siege warfare than the classic teamed PvP that I was used to. Warfare weapons were everywhere and I couldn’t quite get it from the start.

I needed something that could get me all the information quickly so I would know what to do and when to do it. I was tired of going again through the trial and error process of finding out what should and most importantly what shouldn’t be done in the game.

• Crafting Guide ‒ Although the crafting guide has been turned upside down everywhere, be it free or not, the visual presentation through the videos of the crafting guide does bring some value to this guide. It won’t take you by the hand and level max level you, but it will point out what you should do to minimize the leveling time and the costs. A nifty read, can be improved.

• Cooking Guide ‒ Cooking is like a crafting minigame when you get tired of all the serious crafting out there. Although not very complicated, cooking can leave you flat broke in Karma and Gold, so the cooking guide will help you dominate, pun intended, this crafting system. Really like the ideas the guide creators had. You should check it out!

• Trading Post profits ‒ This is the part I really liked. Some GW 2 tips on how to make some gold at the Trading Post. Although simplified very much in comparison to other auction houses out there, the Trading Post still has its secrets, now revealed by the guide at Guild Wars 2 Domination.

• PvP Guide ‒ This area can be improved a lot more, but they are on the right track. Some tips and builds here and there can get you started, but it isn’t near enough to think that you will become a beast overnight.

• Full Refund if not Satisfied ‒ I think I like this feature the most. You get the guide, you try it a bit and you reach the conclusion that it’s not worth your time and it didn’t help you improve. Now you have a product that you can’t use, but paid money for. This system allows you to get a full refund, no questions asked if you are not satisfied, making this guide an absolute no risk one. Everyone can try it and see how it goes.

Overall, the Guild Wars 2 Domination guide, is an innovative one that comes with an extra layer of accessibility. I enjoyed its tips and strategies and I have also found some unique views and ideas about the game that really helped me in my gaming sessions. I would rate it a 4 out of 5 stars, since it can be heavily improved in some areas, but judging by the fact that you can always get a refund on your payment, I don’t see why on earth you wouldn’t give Guild Wars 2 Domination a try!

The Tycoon Gold Guide is one of Manaview’s latest inventions. It’s a new in-game addon that claims to automate the most powerful gold strategies in the game leading to an increase in gold income of about 500%. It helps transform ‘gold making’ into a fun, quick, and immensely profitable experience.
This is something WoW players have been waiting for since Vanilla and it has the power to completely change the way we make gold.

So, does Tycoon live up to the hype? I’ve received a copy, used it for a week, and will give you my honest review here.


Does it work?

I’ll get straight to what you want to know. Does Tycoon really work?

Yes, it absolutely works!

They claim you can make 230% more gold by using Tycoon. I found this to be a conservative number. I personally used the addon for several days now and I’ve always managed to open my mailbox to over 500%-700% more gold than I normally get using the exact same strategies by myself.


How Tycoon Works

The idea is simple, yet incredibly powerful.

Manaview took the best gold strategies in the game and made an addon that automates the difficult or most time consuming parts of the strategy. Since it’s automated, it basically means they optimized the strategy so you’re more efficient in doing it, resulting in about 5x more gold than you would normally get.

The 5 current strategies included are Gathering, Grinding/Farming, Crafting, Auction House Playing, and Dailies. This is 95% of all gold making strategies used by the WoW community, so almost nothing is left out.

The addon intelligently studies your server’s economy and shows you things like:
- Exactly what strategy will make you the most money

- What item will make you the most money based on its calculations

- The best way to get that item by giving you things like, optimized gathering routes or hot farming locations.

- It knows if too many people are using that strategy and will often times tells you to get an item with no competition but high in demand. This means you’re the only one getting that particular item because there’s no competition, resulting in getting more of them. And there is high demand meaning you can sell it for super high prices.


Detailed Walkthrough

When you startup Tycoon, the first thing you need to do is scan the Auction House to help Tycoon learn your economy. This is super quick and done with a click of a button. This is similar to Auctioneer but it’s a much quicker scan that takes no more than 30 seconds to complete.

When the scan is complete Tycoon has enough information to do its magic. A window will appear with lists of items ordered from top to bottom by how much Tycoon believes you will make, per hour, if you go for that item.

I’m impressed with how accurately Tycoon is able to give you solid advice on which items will make you the most money.

Often times, items that you never thought would make you the most gold per hour will appear at the top of the list. That’s where Tycoon really comes in handy. It has the ability to scan through an enormous amount of data that would take a human several hours to figure out. People usually skip past the economy studying part and just go straight for the highest level items, but with Tycoon you’ll discover those aren’t always the items that will make you the most gold per hour.

It knows your economy better than a human ever can, it knows if the market is inflated and knows when there’s too much competition. If situations aren’t right to go for one item, Tycoon will give you another one. It’s a good feeling to know you’re always doing the strategy that makes you the most gold possible at that point in time.

Tycoon does more than just tell you the best way to make the most gold. It shows you!

If Tycoon tells me to mine say, Cobalt ore, all you need to do is click the “Show me routes” button and it will give you highly optimized mining routes. This creates ant trails around your which guide you over the most populated mining node locations. This feature is great and allowed me to double the amount of ore I typically get mining by myself.

This was an awesome feature added to the Gathering Module and I can’t go over all the features in this short review. But all 5 Strategy Modules have some kind of special feature that helps you get the most of that item in the shortest amount of time!


The CONS

I could only find one bad thing about Tycoon.

Sometimes Tycoon will put an item at the top of the Most Profitable list which isn’t in very high demand. It does show you the “demand” of the item is low though. So, as long as you pay attention to that and don’t go for any items that are low in demand, you should be able to quickly sell it. Otherwise, if you don’t mind waiting, you will still sell it eventually.


Conclusion

Tycoon is a truly revolutionary product that is going to change Gold Making forever. Once you’ve used Tycoon, attempting to play without it will be nearly impossible.

The addon is beautiful and has very few bugs for a new product. With the data, tools, and special features of this addon, it is very hard NOT to make more gold using it.

They have gone above and beyond everything you will need to make 500% more gold per hour, or more. Every aspect of the gold strategies included has been enhanced by helpful data or features to help you do it better and faster.
